Architects, marketing executives and administrative assistants have also entrusted us with translating technical documents.
Technical Translations
Challenges for translations that will be published
We can deliver files that are ready to publish, following ISO 17100:2015 standards at every stage of the translation process.
We offer T.E.P. (Translation, Editing and Proofreading) by vetted teams of native speakers and subject specialists.
From our experience, technical documents involve a lot of repeated text. This can greatly increase the overall cost of your project.
Using specialised translation management tools, we analyse your files and apply a discount to any repetitions that we find. We only charge for the work we do, which means you will never be overcharged for a translation.
When managing terminology, spreadsheets and Excel files can get confusing and make it difficult to visualise data clearly.
At the start of a new project, we create a term base (glossary) containing any key terminology. The customer can then confirm the translation of those terms in advance, helping guarantee high quality translations first time round.
We only employ native translators. We also have a wide network of subject specialists who are ready to offer their knowledge and expertise when required.
We are ISO 17100:2015 certified and can provide certificates of accuracy.
We have an in-house team of graphic designers working in our dedicated desktop publishing (DTP) department. This means we can offer document formatting free of charge.
We can work with almost any type of document, so whatever programs you use, your translations will be ready to go.
Our graphic designers have the expertise needed to extract text contained in images and send it to our translators. We then deliver the image back to you, containing the text in the target language.
We take security very seriously. We are ISO 27001:2013, Cyber Essentials Certified and GDPR compliant. All our staff, both internal and freelancers, sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
We cover our services with a 10 million GBP indemnity insurance policy, and we are very happy to say that in our 25 years of operation, we have never made a claim.
We quote per project, on a per word basis. This excludes the cost of repetitions.
We use specialised translation management tools to analyse files and find any repetitions, so you will only be charged once for the translation of repeated text.
We will also create translation memories for your project and a glossary of key terms. This means that whenever you send new files for translation, we can cross check the content against your previous translations and only charge for new content
Challenges for translations that will be shared internally
The best solution is to use Advanced Machine Translation (AMT). Superior to sites like Google Translate, this technology is designed to learn languages much like the human brain does.
Drawing on 25-years’ worth of data from our library of human translation projects, we have trained our neural machines to the highest standard. This has allowed us to create memory pools for a number of industries, including construction, automotive, manufacturing and engineering.
Our AMT is an affordable option that delivers impressive results. We also offer a sample page free of charge, so you can see the standard of quality and check if this is the right option for you.
We can deliver editable documents within 2 hours, and non-editable documents in just a few days.

Our Translation Solutions
This service includes translation, editing and proofreading by native speakers and subject matter experts. Following ISO 17100:2015 standards, we offer all our clients a Certificate of Accuracy if required. This verifies that the translations we produce are accurate, complete and true.
Our specialist team of post-editors will edit and revise advanced machine translations. This combines the speed of machine translation with the sensitivity of human linguists, giving you the best of both worlds.
Depending on your needs, you can choose whether you would like one post-editor, or a team of both a post-editor and a revisor. Not sure? Get in touch and we can advise on what would be the best option for you.
We have trained our neural translation machines on a variety of specialist subject areas. Using thousands of translations created over the course of 25 years, our machines are able to recognise similar content and produce a draft translation with impressive results.
Although this can lack the fluency and sensitivity of a human linguist, this is a cost-effective solution that saves on time.
